What I'm Reading: July 2018

I haven't been reading as much as usual lately, which is something that I want to change. Last month I only finished one book, which wasn't great, but I'm still on track to read my 18 books this year! Here's my thoughts on the books I've read in June and the books I'm planning on reading in July!

Last Month's Books

Awaken the Giant Within - Tony Robbins
I underestimated the length of this book when I first started it, which is why it took me so long to get through! This is a similar book to other self-help books, but still very interesting and useful. It focused on the psychology of success and how mindset plays a large role in it. If you're really into psychology or self-help books, this might be a good read, but if you want something shorter and easier to read, You are a Badass by Jen Sincero is another similar book.

This Month's Books

The Secrets of Six-Figure Women - Barbara Stanney
This book is one of the ones that Amazon Prime members can borrow for free through Prime Reading. I've started reading it and it is really interesting. The author interviewed a whole bunch of high earning women and I think it'll be interesting to see what their mindsets are and how they balance their life.

The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood
In last month's post I had this on the list of books I wanted to read during June, but I never got around to it. I haven't watched the tv show yet, but I've heard great things about it.
