What I'm Loving May 2018

It's time for another What I'm Loving post! These are all the things that I've been loving this past month and that I wanted to share with you! Let me know in the comments what you've been wearing, listening to, watching, eating, drinking, and doing!

Wearing: Ododos High Waist Pocket Leggings
I bought these leggings for $20 off amazon and I have to say that they are the most amazing things ever! They have large pockets on the sides of the legs that can hold my ginormous iPhone 6 plus as well as a high waist that feels secure, but not too constricting. I have the black and they are breathable, flattering, and not at all see through, but they have plenty more colors!

Listening: U Up? Podcast
This is one of the many Betches podcasts that I listen to and I love it. This is a podcast where a guy and girl give relationship advice to listeners that send in their questions. It is so funny, interesting, and makes mundane things like cooking and cleaning much more fun.

Watching: Silicon Valley

Since the first season, this has been one of my favorite shows! It is witty, smart, and the plot is always interesting. This season has been my favorite and although it just ended, I would highly recommend going back and watching it if you haven't seen it! All the episodes are on HBO if you have it.

Eating: Avocado Toast
This is so basic, but it's been my go to breakfast lately! The way that I make it is a toasted piece of sourdough topped with avocado and sprinkled with everything but the bagel seasoning. I usually put a bit of spinach on it for some greens and top it with an over easy egg. It's so good, it makes me feel healthy, and it's not too heavy of a meal.

Drinking: Water (out of this tumbler)

I haven't really been drinking anything but water lately, which has been super good for my health! This tumbler was something I found on Amazon as a cheaper alternative to a hydroflask and I love it! It keeps my drink cold all day long, is super cute, and is really sturdy.

Reading: R29 Money Diaries
I've been reading Refinery 29 money diaries for a while now, but lately I've been reading them every single day. They chronicle a week in the life of a millennial woman and share what real people spend in a week. It's super interesting and educational being able to learn what works for certain people.

Doing: Cutting My Own Hair

This is a super weird thing that I've been loving. It's been months since I got a haircut and I finally got so fed up with the dead ends that I picked up a pair of scissors and used a youtube tutorial to give myself a trim. It turned out surprisingly well and it's definitely something that I now feel comfortable doing on myself, which will save me money at the salon. I don't recommend this for everyone, but it's something that I really liked trying out for myself.

That's it for this month's post! Let me know what you've been loving in the comments below and if you have any other topics you'd like me to blog about! Also, make sure you're following on Bloglovin so you don't miss anything!
