New Post Schedule and Life Update



The other day I was looking through my blog and realized that my last post was in February. The past year and a half I've scaled back my posting, but this was the longest I've been MIA since the beginning of the blog in 2013. 

I could list all my excuses here, but you all deserve better than that. It's true that I have been busy with school and life in general, but so is everyone else. Instead of that, I'm making a promise: new posts every Monday and Thursday for the spring and summerTwo posts a week (maybe more over the summer once my workload lightens). I already have the next month or so planned out, but if you have any requests for posts or just general topics you want me to write about, let me know in the comments!

Now for some general life updates!

This spring has been the hardest semester of my entire academic career. I constantly feel like I'm drowning in work and studying (part of the reason I've neglected the blog), but I am so close to the end of the school year that I'm just trying to push through. I'm staying in Reno this summer to work in a lab instead of going back home. I already know I'm going to be miserable in the heat, but hopefully there will be some trips to tahoe to balance it out. I've also been on a huge self-help kick lately. Most of the youtube videos I watch are business/self-help and when the next What I'm Reading post goes up you'll see just how much I've been consuming self help content. Lastly, I made a twitter for the blog! You can follow me @theMBGblog and I'll follow you back!
