What I'm Loving: July 2017

Remember when people used to do favorites videos on youtube, sharing what they enjoyed most during the past month? This is going to be the blog version of that! After you read through this, leave a comment below letting me know what you think and I might make this a monthly (or seasonal) column.

I've been working in Waikiki this past month and have nothing but great things to say about Musubi Cafe, which is where I've been buying most of my dinners this month. It's typical fast/casual japanese food, but it is so cheap and fast and is always delicious.
I also have two drink favorites! All of my long time readers know how much of a Starbucks fiend I am, and this month I've been obsessed with the new Starbucks tea infusions! I love the peach citrus white tea (sweetened) or the pineapple black tea lemonade (you have to get it with the lemonade!). I've also been obsessed with boba! I used to go all the time when I was working at the mall right across from a tea stand, but lately I've been going to Mr. Tea and getting an Oolong milk tea with boba.

Make Up For Ever Duo Mat - This has been my go-to foundation for the past year, but it is especially great during the summer. The humidity in Hawaii has been at an all time high this past month and I can hardly step outside without sweating, but this foundation is a trooper! It keeps me from looking too shiny and is way easier to travel with than a liquid foundation and setting powder combo.

My fashion favorite this month has been my Coach mini keychain wallet. It's similar to the Mini Skinny ID Cases that they have now, but slightly different. I love it because it clips to my keys and acts as my wallet so I can carry cash, cards, and whatever else I need without needing a bag.

I've been loving lifestyle programming lately. I watched all of season two of Beach Bites on Cooking Channel, which I really enjoyed. I have also been watching lots of the Kitchen and old Barefoot Contessa episodes. I've been working weekends and nights this summer, so I haven't been able to do much entertaining and cooking, so I've been living vicariously through the shows I watch.
