Shows I'm Currently Watching (Winter 2016)

I tend to not watch a lot of new television because I don't have cable and Hulu has ads, so a lot of times it's simply easier to watch something old on Netflix. With that being said, I've spent the last few days since I finished finals binge watching the **** out of current shows. Here's what I've been watching.

Top Chef: I've watched every season of Top Chef starting from the second season when I was in fourth grade. This season is different because half of the contestants were losers from previous seasons and the other half are newbies. It's been really good so far and I highly recommend watching it! (Also, there's only five episodes so far, so you're not too far behind!)

Designated Survivor: This is the only new show that I watch and actually like. The premise of the show is that all the high level politicians die so the "designated survivor" ends up being president and has to unravel conspiracies surrounding the events that lead up to the bombing of the capital. I explained that horribly, but it's a good show and has started to get a lot better recently. It's 10 episodes in so far, but if you don't want to watch 10 episodes, you should watch the first one, read recaps for the next 7, and watch 9 and 10.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: This is the only Real Housewives that I watch. It's not something that I need to watch or actively keep up with, but the season just started so I've watched the first episode. The good thing about reality tv like this is that it doesn't matter when you start the season or show because you get caught up quickly

Vanderpump Rules: Pretty much the same as RHOBH. I don't watch it regularly (jk I totally do), but it's more of a guilty pleasure, put on while I'm doing other stuff, not super serious show.

The Bachelor: I watched Desiree's season of the Bachelorette and watched the Bachelor here and there for the past couple years inconsistently. I watched the first episode of this season and I think I'll continue watching it. This is another trash tv show that I usually have on in the background when I'm editing, writing, cleaning, or cooking.

Brooklyn Nine Nine: This has been a long time favorite show of mine. This season started off slow, but has since regained stamina and is the show that I know and love. The good thing about this is that if you miss an episode or two, you don't necessarily need to catch up.

There are a couple other shows that I watch whenever I have time to (Total Divas, The Middle, Modern Family...), but I don't watch them regularly and would never choose to watch one of those shows over the others on this list. The last show that I'll include is Scandal. It's not back yet (1/19!!!), but you know I'll be watching that once it starts to air again! Let me know in the comments what shows you've been watching this winter and if there are any good ones I should start watching!
