Met Gala: Best Dressed

The Met Gala was last night and it's always fun seeing how celebrities dress to the theme. Last night's theme was "Manus X Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology," so there was plenty of chrome and sparkle. Here are my four favorite looks of the night.

Taylor Swift: Of the celebrities on my list, she's the only one that really dressed for the theme. I love how different this is for her, and I like how she didn't accessorize because the dress and shoes were such focal points.

Kendall Jenner: I love this dress and she pulls it off so well. She also kept it really simple with just earrings, which allowed the dress to really shine. The rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan went with sparkly Balmain, which was really on point with the theme, but I didn't like their outfits nearly as much.

Emma Watson: She killed it in this dress! I think that hers is my favorite outfit of the night, but I'm a sucker for a nice off the shoulder neckline. I like how she went with an updo and how the dress is really nicely proportioned so she isn't drowning in fabric.

Blake Lively: Blake is seriously always on point, and this year was no different. This dress is so pretty and feminine, and once again it's really nice because she has the train without looking swamped in fabric. The neckline of this is also really nice, and the flowers look nice and fresh without overpowering everything. P.S. anyone else notice how she matches the carpet?

So these were my four favorite outfits from the Met Gala. I love the Met Gala because it is so fashion forward and it allows people to experiment. I won't be doing a worse dressed because there were too many outrageous looks (Lady Gaga's leotard, Madonna's butt hanging out, Diane Von Furstenberg had butterflies in her hair...). Let me know who wore your favorite look at the Met Gala in the comments and follow me on bloglovin for more!
