My Week on Instagram #2

Hey guys!
It's been a little over a week since I've done my last "My Week on Instagram" post, which you can see here if you haven't already, but I thought that I'd start off where I finished last week and go up until today (11/2), so I'm not leaving any pictures out! If you're new here, these posts consist of me talking about why I posted the pictures I did, what was going on when I took the pictures, and just overall giving you more of an insight into my life.

Saturday (10/24):
That Saturday was our homecoming game against the University of Hawaii. My grandparents were here to see the game, and on their way back to their hotel, they stopped by my dorm so I could talk to them a little bit. This was taken by my grandma and my grandpa is in it with me, and we're standing in front of my dorm building (Peavine dorm).

Sunday (10/25):
On Sunday, my grandparents took me and my roommates/suitemates out to lunch. We went to Hiroba sushi, which I actually did a whole review on here, because it's slightly more expensive and it's been way too long since I've eaten sushi! It was all you can eat, and we definitely ate way more than our money's worth. We could barely climb up the stairs to our floor after lunch, and we all fell into a food coma for hours after lunch!

Tuesday (10/27):
I had a couple of selfies that I have been really wanting to post. The lighting was nice, the background was nice, and I look genuinely happy in these pictures. Does that make me fake? Perhaps. But last week was a four day week for me because I had friday off (Nevada day!), and I used that as an excuse to let me post this picture.

Thursday (10/29):
This picture is on the whole other end of the spectrum. I look horrible in this picture, I'm sweaty, oily, not wearing makeup, but I was happy. There aren't many pictures with my sister, my brother, and I where we all look happy or decent, and this was the best I got. On this day I also talked to my brother for the first time in a while because he's spending the year in Japan and is slightly hard to communicate with, and I think that's part of the reason I posted this. We were talking about life and family, and I wanted to share that on my social media as well, even though no one but me probably got that full story from my post.

Friday (10/30):
This was Nevada day so I didn't have school! A lot of my friends were out of town for the three day weekend, but obviously I can't go back to Hawaii because flights are so incredibly expensive, so I went adventuring instead. I wandered downtown by myself for a little bit, found some amazing parks, sat, meditated, let myself get emotional, pondered, wandered some more, and repeated that for a couple hours. Some people probably think it's stupid I went out to a strange part of town by myself, but I wanted to feel in control, and I wanted to feel and live in general, and it was totally worth it. It inspired this post that went up a couple days ago, and was the best day I've had in a while.

Saturday (10/31):
Halloween was actually pretty boring tbh. We had a bowl of candy out, but didn't dress up or go out at all. I posted this because I wanted to share my sister's costume because I thought it was so unique and clever. She dressed up as a "ninjago", which is pretty much a lego ninja, and looked amazing! In the caption, I said "ninja" because I didn't think people would know what I meant if I said "ninjago", but then the next day one of my friends texted me and was like "wouldn't it have been easier for your sister to wear clothes to be a ninja instead of a box?", so I guess that whole situation was a catch 22.

Monday (11/2):
And that brings me to today! It was incredibly cold this morning, and this whole day actually. It actually was "snowing", which was really just slush that melted as soon as it hit the ground, but that's a different story. I woke before my alarm clock and I got to do my morning routine at my own pace, and I got to stay relaxed this morning instead of rushing to get to class on time. Today was a great day (you can read my daily diary post about it here), and this post, and me drinking coffee in bed this morning is what started it.

This was an insanely long post, but I hope that it was interesting and that you enjoyed it! I really like writing these posts and really analyzing why I post what I post, so if you'd like to see more, let me know in the comments! Also, if you aren't already following me on instagram, my username is @miss_sienna! Have a wonderful day, or week, or however long it is until we speak again!
