Playing With My Camera (Bronze Makeup Tutorial)

Hi guys!
The other day, I came home from work and I was really digging the makeup I had done! I used a heavier hand with the bronzer and a different blush than usual, and I was really loving it, so I decided to snap a few pictures. The only problem was that it was late at night, and the flash on my camera makes me look crazy most times! So I started to play with the settings and this is what I got! Obviously natural lighting would have been 100% better (and in hindsight, I should've put on a lipstick), but I thought I'd share anyways!

As usual, I used my all time favorite foundation and concealer combo: Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous foundation and MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I filled in my eyebrows with the Sumita Eyebrow Pencil, which I've been really loving lately! Like I said earlier, I went heavy with the bronzer! I first took my Jouer Mattifying Bronzer all over my face, paying lots of attention to the high planes (cheekbones, nose, chin, forehead) and also along the perimeter of my face. I then took my Anastasia Contour Kit and used the medium bronze shade as a light contour under my cheekbones and around the temples! Lastly, I took my MAC Blush in Immortal Flower (it was limited edition, but any light peachy color will work) and applied it somewhat heavily to the apples of my cheeks!

I took the brown shade called Reign from the Urban Decay Vice 3 all over my eyelids and blended it up into the crease. I also took that same shade on an angled brush under my lower lashline. I then took the shade Truth from the same palette under the browbones. I used the Bobbi Brown Sepia Eyeliner on the upper lashlines and followed it up by curling my lashes and using my Makeup Forever Smokey Extravagant mascara (you can read a review of that mascara here!)

In the picture, I'm not wearing anything on my lips, but in real life I wore the Elf Moisturizing Lipstick in Ravishing Rose. I wore that shade to Prom (you can see pics of my prom by clicking here) and it's become my favorite (and most worn) shade of the moment!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I promise that I'll take better pics next time! Also, if you haven't seen your Stylish Summer Challenge posts, you can click here to see them all! And don't forget to register below because I'm running a giveaway next week! Any guesses on what the prize is?
