One Direction Take Me Home Makeup Set First Impressions

*Update: I read that it'll retail for $29, but I'm not 100% sure if that's accurate or not

Hi guys!
So I'm pretty sure this post is going to end up very long because there are 7 components of this set that I need to get to. But first, I'm going to be completely honest with you and tell you that I did receive this palette for free, but that in no way impacts the reviews and thoughts that I express in this post! Also this is going to be just a first impressions post and I'll do individual reviews for each product so you can decide whether this is something you'd like to spend your money on. And if you don't want to spend your money, Markwins was amazing enough to let me host a giveaway where up to 50 people will win one of the 3 palettes! If you want to enter the giveaway, click here.

So first off the packaging is huge! It's the size of a book and the case is made of metal. I do like this packaging in the sense that everything is removable so you can repurpose the case for something else if you'd like to. But the individual product packaging is black and the writing on it is also black so I don't think that was very smart, but it's not a big deal to me. Another thing I wish this kit had is a mirror! Especially on the eyeshadow.

I think the packaging is the same for all 3 palettes, but I got the most neutral one called "Take Me Home"

Now into the first impressions!

Eye and body crayon (I wish)
This is a nice chocolatey brown jumbo eye pencil that I guess can be used on the body too! It has great pigmentation, applies evenly and smoothly, and from what I've tried so far, I think it has great staying power.

Liquilights Glow Gloss (kiss you)

I don't have a blacklight so I can't test the "glowing" claim, but this gloss has great pigmentation. It does have a tad bit of shimmer but it's not frosty at all. The applicator is a flattened doe foot applicator and it has a slight vanilla scent. Think MAC scent, but a little different.

Lipstick (last first kiss)

This is a nice bright rosy color that has a satin finish. This doesn't have a scent that I can pick out and the pigmentation is okay, although definitely not full coverage.

4+1 Eyeshadow Palette (back for you, change my mind, take me home, c'mon c'mon, and little things)

There are three matte powders that have varying pigmentation. The cream shade is by far my favorite of the mattes as the other two need to be built up quite a bit. The shimmery champagne shadow is very, very glittery and I can see fallout being a problem with this shadow unless you have a fantastic base. But all 4 of the powder eyeshadows have a wonderful texture that is creamy and smooth. The cream eyeshadow is a slight disappointment because I thought the glitter was throughout, but it was only an overlay. I think the cream shadow might crease especially on oily lids, but it could be great if it was set with a powder.

The wand on this is natural bristled with a slight taper towards the tip. It is a nice black shade and it is a very good sized mascara!

Not something I will use, but it's nice if you want it!

Nail Polish
It is a silver glitter with some blue and pink glitter in it (although it's mostly silver). It doesn't apply great by itself, but it's good as a top coat over a plain polish!

When I first got this opportunity, I was confused as to whether this owuld be little kid makeup or real actual makeup that I'd wear and I'm pleasantly surprised!
