What's Your Go-To Hairstyle?

Hey everyone!
This is a little bit of a randomer post, but I thought that it would be fun! I really want to know what all of your go-to hairstyles are! I used to be really into ponytails, then buns, but now I have been really into side braids when my hair is acting up! I like how easy it is and I think that it looks a little bit fancier and looks like you've spent more effort compared to a bun or a ponytail! So in the comments, let me know what your go-to hairstyle is when you're having a bad hair day!

Black Friday Haul

Hey everyone!
So I went black friday shopping with one of my friends at midnight and I wanted to do a little haul on it! Surprisingly, I didn't get that much stuff so this will be a very short post! So let's get started!

Forever 21
I got this really cute sweater from Forever 21. It is white with black details and has pictures of pizza all over it! I thought that it was adorable, and it was so quirky and I thought it would be really fun to wear to school.

I love shopping at aeropostale on black friday! It is literally my favorite place to go and I love how cute their clothes has gotten this past year! I bought a jacket and a pair of sweat pants. The jacket is really cute and is so soft and warm on the inside! The sweat pants are also really cute and they are "skinny" so they aren't too flowy. On the leg of the pants it says "Live, Love,

Old Navy
I got one top from old navy. It is a navy blue and white striped long sleeve top. It is a little bit long and loose, so I think that I'll wear it with leggings or skinny jeans or a more fitted bottom!

So that is what I got on black friday! Let me know what you got in the comments below and please follow this blog!

Make a Bold Lip POP!

Hey everyone!
So I got the Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter in my November Birchbox and I've been playing with it and I found a great use for it!

So you know how all the beauty gurus say to line the outside of your lips with a concealer to make the lip shades pop? This makes it so easy! You literally apply your lip color (mines is a Sephora Nano Liner in Pleasant Plum) and then once you have that, you take this pencil and outline the outside border of your lips. It really makes your lip shade pop even more in contrast to the lighter line and makes it look even bolder! What I like to do after outlining is to take a Q-tip and just run it over the line so that its not too harsh. This is optional, though. Also, you can take a little more of this pencil and apply it over the cupids bow to make it pop!

Let me know in the comments if you use this tip and don't forget to follow this blog!

4 Step Eyes for a Bold Lip

Hey everyone!
So I have been wearing a lot of bold lips lately and I wanted to do this post because I've streamlined my eye routine to 4 easy steps and I thought it would be cool to share with you guys! So lets get started!

1) Apply a shimmery champagne shadow
I love this because you don't even need to prime your eyes because we just want a wash of pigment! I used a fluffy brush all over the lid! This literally is the easiest thing ever and takes less than a minute to do!
2) Fill in your brows
The method in which you do this doesn't really matter, but you really want to fill in your brows because they frame the face. If you wear a bold lip and don't fill in your brows, your face would look unbalanced and it washes you out a little bit!
3) Line!
With a bold lip, I tend to go towards a brown or gray rather than a black, but you can use any type of liner you'd like! I used a brown pencil liner and smudged it along both the upper and lower lashlines! If you want to go really dramatic you can go for a thick black line, and if you want to go more neutral, go for a brown or gray!
4) Mascara!
How easy is this! Just apply one or two coats of your favorite mascara! Mines is Benefit They're Real in this photo!

So those were my 4 step eyes for a bold lip! Just FYI the lip that I'm wearing is the Sephora Pleasant Plum nano liner. Leave a comment below letting me know what your favorite bold lip combo is at the moment and don't forget to follow this blog!

Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Review

Hey everyone!
So I got the Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter in my November Birchbox and I wanted to review it for you guys! Chella is a brand that I had never heard of before, but I think that I really like it, especially after trying this product!

So, what is it?
It is a jumbo pencil type product, but in a light nude shade. This can be used everywhere that you'd use a highlighter! My favorite spots is the inner corner, waterline, browbone, under eye, and cupids bow! It is so creamy and is a cream shade so it doesn't have any type of shimmer or sparkle to it.

The pros of this is that it is a larger pencil so you can use it like you would a touche eclat or something of the sort under the eye without taking forever to do. It is also very creamy so it can spread really easily and it sheers out very nicely. The fact that its in the pencil is also great because many highlighters come in liquid form, but because this is in a pencil, you can use it on the waterline as well as on actual skin.

You need to sharpen this pencil, which I know is a big deal to some people. It is also very creamy so you might get less staying power on the waterline with this. Also, if you have very light or dark skin, this may look non-existent or too harsh.

I think this is a great product, I really enjoy it and I think that it will surely become one of my everyday favorites!

Let me know if you've tried this product and your thoughts on it in the comments! Also, please follow this blog if you enjoy it!

Amazing Hair Secret!

Hey everyone!
So I have an amazing hair secret to share with you guys today! It has completely transformed my hair and I swear by this!

So first I'll start off with my type of hair. It is coarse, thick, and dry. I have a lot of hair too! So usually when I conditioned my hair after shampooing it would feel good that day, but the next day it would weigh down my hair and make it feel almost greasy to the touch. I would try conditioning every other shampoo and it helped, but it still was sort of greasy and my hair wouldn't hold a curl for the life of me! So I started researching what to do!

So thats how I found this secret! I read that the Victoria's Secret Angels condition, then shampoo. This was so their hair was soft and moisturized, but not greasy or oily! I tried this and it actually really works! What I do is apply a thick conditioner (Herbal Essences Honey I'm Strong) and leave it in for like 5 minutes while I wash my face and body and then take a shampoo and shampoo the conditioner out! It works amazingly and my hair is probably the healthiest its been in a while!

Let me know if you try this secret and if it works for you! Also, don't forget to follow this blog for more secrets and tips!

Sephora Pleasant Plum Nano Liner Review

 Hey everyone!
It's almost turkey day! Whoo hooo! So because it is almost the end of fall, I wanted to review this shade, which I think is the perfect shade for the start of winter! It is a gorgeous plum lip liner from Sephora and if it looks familiar, it's because I hauled it recently! If you want to see that Sephora haul, click here

So there are tons of different shades of Sephora nano lip liners and because they are "nano" they are smaller than the average lip liner. I think that this is good for bolder colors because let's be honest, who actually uses up a normal sized orange or purple lip liner? I don't! But for a size comparison, I photographed it next to my iphone (but keep in mind the phone case makes the phone a little larger than usual). It is around half the size of a normal lip liner. These retail for $5, which I think is a tad bit expensive for what you get, but then again these are "sephora" so they're a little bit of a mid to higher end brand. If you're not willing to spend this much on a lip liner, check out the Jordana Easy liner because they are very good and are like $2 each!

Formulation wise this is pretty average. It is creamy and spreads easily, which is great because theres nothing worse than a dry lip liner, but with that being said, it still applies a little patchy. I noticed that some areas of my lips would have a little more of the lip liner pigment than other areas and it looked pretty strange. If you're going to use this as a layering product with a gloss or lipstick over it, it won't be as big of a problem as if you just use it by itself. The staying power is great lasting 6 hours with eating, drinking, and talking and it leaves a slight stain after removal.

One of the major complaints that I've heard of is that it doesn't fit into some sharpeners. I have 2 different sharpeners and it fits into one, but not the other so just keep that in mind when purchasing.

Overall, I think that this is a good product if you are looking for a layering lip liner. If you want a good stand alone lip liner, I think that you can get better bang for your buck at the drugstore (Jordana Easyliner!) because this one does need a little bit of patience! Let me know in the comments if you get this liner and also let me know if you like to wear lipliner alone or with something over it! Don't forget to follow me too! I'll do a giveaway once I reach 100 followers!

Aerie Haul!

Hey everyone!
I was debating on whether or not to do this post because Aerie is a underwear type store and I did buy a couple bras from them, but I figured that I'd just do it anyways! So if you are going to feel uncomfortable with this post, please don't read it! I have literally like 400 other posts on this blog so you have plenty of reading material! So for all of you that are continuing on this post, let's get started!

I really needed a couple new bras because some of mine were getting a ratty looking and you gotta replace them every once in a while! So there was a deal on aerie when I bought this where you get 25% off everything, so naturally I gravitated towards the clearance section so I could get a good deal! I ended up finding these gorgeous bras for $11 each! They are really comfortable and cute and I love the details on it! These are the Reese Studded Push Up Bra and I got the shade Glacier Gray (but it ends up looking more white than gray) and True Black, but theres also a royal blue shade too! I'll link the bras here in case you'd like to buy them yourself!
So that was my quick Aerie Haul! Let me know if you like Aerie bras because these are my first ones and I'm actually pretty impressed with them! Also, don't forget to subscribe for more posts daily!

Birchbox November 2013 Unboxing

Hey everyone!
So I got my birchbox the other day and I decided to do an unboxing on it even though like everyone else who's subscribed to birchbox has already received their boxes like weeks ago! So this post will just be on what I got in the box and I'll do individual reviews soon!

So I'll start from the top left and go clockwise!
Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil
I think that this is the full size, so that is amazing! Its a really pretty nude pencil that I'm going to test out on the waterline!
Buy it here
Color Club Nail Polish in Dark'n Stormy
A gorgeous storm gray color that is very metallic! Its dark, but not too goth and my mom actually tested this shade out and loves it!
Buy it here
BeeKind Body Lotion
A nice sized sample and I am actually really excited to try this because its made with honey and I love honey in skincare products!
Buy it here
Paula's Choice BHA 9 For Stubborn Imperfections

This is kind of a lousy sample size especially because it sounds like you have to apply this all over the face instead of as a spot treatment. Come on birchox! Step yo game up!
Buy it here
Chuao Assorted Chocolate
I got the honeycomb one! It was really yummy actually, but I don't think that its any tastier than like a Twix bar :)
Buy it here

So like I said in the beginning of this post, I'll be reviewing everything (except the chocolate) soon! If you've got a birchbox this month, let me know what you received in the comments below and don't forget to follow this blog for more posts and reviews! Also, little update! I have another blog and I did the 25 random questions TAG on that blog, which I'll link here if you'd like to check it out!

American Eagle Haul

Hey everyone!
I have another haul for you guys! Instead of a beauty haul, like I normally do, I have a clothing haul! I bought a few things from American Eagle the other day and I also bought a few underwear items from Aerie. I am going to do a separate haul on my Aerie products so be on the look out for that! I only bought 5 items, so this will be a very quick post! So lets get started!

So this is a lace top in the front and a normal top in the back. It is slightly cropped and loose. It's really pretty and although I really want to keep this top for myself, I think I'll control myself and gift it to a friend for christmas! This is on sale for $10 right now and if you want to get it, I'll leave the link here!

So this is a white peplum tank! It has a little bit of a crochet pattern on the front and the back is a "Y" back. This is peplum so it'll flare out a little bit at the waist. I'm giving this to my friend for her birthday and I think if you are going to shop for someone else, this is a safe choice because it is so universal! This is also on sale online for $10 and I'll leave the link for this here for you!

I got 2 of the Boyfriend Swing Tank. I love these tanks because they are a little fitted at the top near the bust, but get looser towards the bottom. They are also a longer style of tank top so they cover the butt area so I can wear leggings with them! These are also so shimmery and gorgeous, which I didn't know when purchasing them, and I think they are so gorgeous! I got the Square Root shade (red) and Dust (a nude/gray). If you are only going to get one, I'd say get dust because it is way more wearable although square root is more festive! These are only $8 each and I'll link them here!

This is called a Hi-Lo Cropped tank although it really isn't "hi lo". It is a gorgeous cropped tank with a american flag heart and it looks like something you'd buy from Brandy Melville or something for $20! But guess how much I payed for it! $8!!! I'll also link this for you guys here!

So that was my american eagle haul! Let me know what you think of these items and if you want a post on how I style the boyfriend tanks because thats the only clothing items in this haul that I'm keeping for myself! Also, don't forget to follow this blog for more posts!

Physicians Formula Correcting Powder Review

 Hey everyone!
I mentioned in a post a while ago that I finally hit pan on my Physicians Formula correcting powder, and I got bombarded with questions asking whether I'm going to repurchase it, if I recommend it, and basically asking me to review it! So I am!

So lets start! This powder comes with the pan of powder (obviously) but under that, it has a little compartment with a small mirror and a brush. I don't particularly love the brush, but I think that its nice for when you're on the road and don't want to bring another brush!

From left to right: All Swirled together, Pink, Yellow, Green, Nude
I love how they have different shades. Honestly, I wasn't really paying
attention when I was purchasing this so I got the shade Creamy Natural, which I don't think is the "best" shade for me, but it works! There is a limited shade selection so that can also be a con. The idea behind this powder is that you can color correct! It's all about the color theory, which is basically that yellow counteracts blue under eye circles, pink brightens, and green counteracts redness. The only downside to this is that they all look the same! I swatched these colors for you guys and as you can see, they all look the same and they all look white! I think that this lack of pigmentation kind of makes this product useless if you are purchasing it for the color correcting ability. FAIL! If you are wondering about the product itself, the powder is very good because it is finely milled and very soft. It is easy to over apply though because a lot of powder can be kicked up with a brush! The price is another factor because physicians formula is a pricier drugstore brand. I think this powder can retail up to $15!

Overall, if you want a nice soft powder, then this could work for you, but to be completely honest, I think there are better powders on the market for cheaper! If you want to have color correcting, I would go for a color correcting concealer instead! I know that maybelline makes a green concealer that is amazing! So buy this at your own risk, and know that this product is just a little gimmicky!

So those were my thoughts on the Physicians Formula Correcting Powder! Let me know what you think of this product if you've tried it in the comments and don't forget to follow this blog!

Minimal Eyes and Berry Lips

Hey everyone!
So in my last outfit of the day post, I was wearing this makeup and I realized that it is pretty different from the makeup that I usually do, so I thought I'd do a post on it! So I normally go for smokey eyes and neutral lips, but I flipped it and did minimal eyes and deep berry lips and I loved it! So this is what I did!

I just used a little bit of concealer on my blemishes and I filled in my brows, but do your normal face routine!

I applied a shimmery champagne color that is around my natural skin tone all over the eye concentrating it on the lid. Then I took a liner brush and a deeper bronze shade and used it as my "liner" on both the upper lashline and outer portion of the lower lashline. Don't forget to put on mascara! Even on the most minimal makeup days, I always use mascara!

This lip combo is so easy, yet so flattering and wearable! I used my jordana easy liner in Baby Berry to line and fill in my lips and then I applied a light layer of OCC Black Dahlia lip tar over it just to deepen it up! This left a gorgeous pinkey berry shade with a satin finish!

So that was my makeup of the day! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below and also tell me if you like playing up lips and going for neutral eyes or if you like wearing smokey eyes and neutral lips! Also, don't forget to follow this blog because I'll do a giveaway once I reach 100 followers!

(Yet Another) Sephora Haul!

Hey everyone!
So I know it seems like I've been posting sephora hauls every month, but I have yet another one for you guys! I got a heck of a lot of samples with this due to a code, but that would have been a pain to photograph so I'm only showing you guys the samples that I'm going to use and that I love! So lets get started!

So starting off with the samples...
Along with the three free samples that you get with every order on, I also found a great code to get that makeup bag at the top of the photo, filled with 8 deluxe samples! I am showing you guys the four samples that I am the most excited about because showing you all 11 samples would be a bit obnoxious...
So I have the Urban Decay Anti Aging Eye Primer, which I'm so excited about and then a Lancome and Smashbox mascara. I also have a Kat Von D lipstick in a gorgeous nude shade that looks fantastic!

Then I bought 2 of these tarte mascara and eye lash curler sets! I got one for my mom's christmas present, and one for myself because I lost my eyelash curler! It was a great deal and I'm so excited to test it out a little bit tomorrow!

And then I started browsing on the site... I got a eyeshadow quad by Charlotte Ronson, at least I think thats what the brand was, and I also got 2 mini lip liners. I got the lip liners in a berry shade and a nude and I got the eye shadow quad actually to give away as a Christmas gift to one of my friends!

So that was my Sephora haul! Let me know what products you'd like reviews on, because I will review everything you'd like to see! Also, follow this blog for more hauls, reviews, and tutorials!

Warm and Cozy Outfit of the Day!

Hey everyone!
I was taking a new profile picture for facebook weirdly enough when I was wearing this outfit, and since I found a good picture of myself, I thought why not reuse that picture in an OOTD post! So here it is! LOL

So my sweater is from H&M. It is white with purple, pink, and orange "speckles" in it. If you ever go to H&M you know what I'm talking about because they do this "speckled" effect with a lot of their fabric! It also has an open back, which obviously you can't see in this picture, but its there!

And awkward you can't see that I'm wearing pants, but I am wearing a pair of jean shorts because although its becoming "winter weather" in Hawaii, its only like 68° at the lowest.

So that was my real quick outfit of the day! Let me know what you think of it in the comments and don't forget to follow this blog! I'll do a giveaway once I reach 100 followers!

How to: Use Pencil Liner in a Smokey Eye

Hey everyone!
So I consider it to be the holiday season although many of you might think its a tad bit early considering thanksgiving isn't even here! But I love doing this look in the fall and winter because it is dramatic, but doesn't take a long time to do! Also, you can substitute different colored liners to make this look a little different! So let's get started!

So first off, I am not going to show any "face" makeup in this, so do your foundation, concealer, bronzer and the like on your own! I am going to recommend a soft pink or peach blush, but you can do whatever you'd like! Also, don't forget to fill in your brows!

1) Dot a soft pencil liner all over the lid space
This looks totally crazy, but trust me, this is how you can get the color to blend out the best! Just dot all over the lid, but make sure that you don't dot any in the crease, because thats where the color will fade. Also, try to add more dots towards the lashline and spread them out as you go up!

2) Take a pencil brush and connect the dots!
Take a stiff pencil brush, and slowly start working the color all over the lid "connecting the dots". Try to work the color up to the crease, fading it as you go up! You'll get a little bit of a "monotone" (no gradient) in this step, so if you don't have the fading yet, we'll fix it!

3) Add another line of liner to your upper lashline
Line your upper lashline again and try to make it as perfect as you can! Then take your pencil brush again and smudge it out, trying to smoke it out, but not fade it too much. Then take your pencil brush and use whatever liner is left on it and smudge it on the lower lashline!

4) Powder it up!
I took a shimmery golden shade on a fluffy brush and applied it to the crease to warm up the smokey eye a little bit. Then I took a pressed powder (a translucent one works best) and I gently swept that all over the liner just to set it and prevent it from smudging.

5) Add a couple coats of mascara (or falsies!)
I added 2 coats of Benefit's "They're Real!" mascara to my upper lashline! I think that if you are going to a party, falsies would look really good too!

So that was how I like to use pencil liner to create a smokey eye! Let me know what you think of this look and if you like it in the comments! Also, check back tomorrow for another post!

Christmas Gift Ideas

Hey everyone!
I'm one of those people who try to get their christmas shopping done early! I hate going shopping in December because I find that everything is so stressful and it taints the holiday spirit for me! So I wanted to do a post on some gift ideas that I have already purchased for my friends. I don't really know whos getting what yet, but I just collect lots of small things to give to my friends because I don't have a lot of money to spend on all of them.

So the first is some bath and body works products. I wouldn't recommend giving this to people like friends because it can look a little weird and unpersonal. I am actually thinking about giving the shower gels or lotion to one of my friends who actually loves bath and body works and is really hard to shop for and the hand soap to my grandmother. I would just be careful with bath and bodyworks soaps and things because if you just get random scents, the recipient might not like that scent or think that it was a last minute gift or something like that. So when I give soaps like this, I try to pair it with a lipgloss or something so it looks like I spent some time and effort on it.

So I have a set from Sephora that has a mascara, lipgloss, and eyeliner. I might split up the set and give different people different things or keep it together. I think that sets that contain basics like mascara and liner are great because everyone uses it and you don't need to worry that they won't use it. Next I have a mini candle. This is in the limited edition summer scent and I bought it with a specific friend in mind. I also have a roller ball of a perfume. Same warning as with the soaps above, just make sure that your friend will like the scent you give her!

This is a set of post it notes from Disney. They are different food shapes and so cute! If you work in an office and want to give something small to all your co-workers, this would be a great idea because everyone uses post it notes. Also, if you are a student like myself, you can give it to your friends with something small like a lipgloss or nail polish to beef up a present cheaply!

Lastly I have some mini shampoos and lotions that I was going to give my friends with this manicure set. I love mini sets like these because you can get them literally everywhere. You can see that I got mine from H&M, but you can get them from Forever 21, Walmart, sometimes even your local drugstore!

I'll do more gift idea posts in the month and a half leading up to christmas so if you want to see more of these, follow this blog!
Love you all!

Hi everyone!
So this post is going to mainly apply to all of you bloggers out there! But Gaby from AnotherGirlyBlog has challenged all of us bloggers (doesn't matter what type of blog you have!) to take the #2014 Blogger Challenge! The idea of this is to get 2 questions each month that you must answer (on the first and third week of each month)! These questions are supposed to improve our blogs as well as be sort of a publicity tool because as of now there are around 40 other gals doing this challenge too! I am really excited to do this and I know that myself as well as a few other bloggers run out of interesting content sometimes and I think that this will help inspire us to create better posts! I would really love it if you guys do this challenge with me and Gaby because I would love to read your answers to the same questions that I'm answering! It's sort of like a tag everyone does every 2 weeks! If you are interested in this challenge here's what you need to do:
Email Gaby ( with your name, blog URL, and email address!
This is so she can add you to the list of people doing the challenge! Also, if you want a better idea of the #2014BloggerChallenge, then check out Gaby's introduction post, which I'll link here, because she says everything a lot better than I do!
So I hope you guys do this challenge with me and if you are, let me know in the comments!

Makeup of the Day: Smokey Burgundy Eyes

Hey everyone!

I wanted to go all out with my makeup today because it is a friday (when I'm writing this) and I didn't have practice after school so I could wear a little more makeup without fear of it sweating off! So I decided to go for a wearable smokey eye incorporating a deep burgundy brown shade, which is perfect for the fall and wintertime! These photos were taken after school so it has faded a tad bit and my skin is oilier and my lip product have worn off, but you get the general idea! So lets get started!

I applied concealer to the usual breakouts and bags and I used a light dusting of powder all over my face! Another exciting thing is that I finally hit pan on my physicians formula powder, so I'll be trying a new one soon! Leave suggestions in the comments on good pressed powders!

I primed with a champagne cream shadow, focusing mostly on the lid and crease, but also bringing it up to the browbone. Then I took a champagne powder shadow, with a slight pink tone, and patted it all over the lid. The one I used was shimmery, but you could go for a matte shadow if you prefer. Then I took a matte burgundy shade on a brush and applied it to the "outer v" area, trying to essentially create a "wing" using the shadow. I built this up quite a bit to get it nice and dark, but if you wanted a more natural look, use less of this shade! To deepen up the look even more, I took a matte black shadow on a fluffy brush and tapped it where I wanted a little more deepness. Be very careful because you still want the color to look burgundy! I finished with a matte cream browbone highlight. For liner, I used a black liquid on the upper lashline and I lined the waterline and outer lower lashline with a black pencil liner, but smudged out the pencil with the burgundy shadow on a pencil brush! I also applied 2 coats of mascara!

In this picture I'm not wearing anything, but in real life I wore a little bit of chapstick under my Pop beauty lipgloss, which was just a nice pink shimmery gloss!

So that was my makeup of the day! Let me know what you think of it in the comments and leave any suggestions for future posts too! Also, don't forget to follow this blog becuase I'll do a giveaway once I reach 100 subscribers!

Makeup of the Night: Smokey Eyes and Bright Pink Lips!

Hey everyone!
I had another cheerleading competition and this time, I was asked by a lot of my teammates to do their makeup similar to mines! It was the first time I was asked by someone to do their makeup, and I was really nervous about messing it up, but I think it turned out alright! I wanted to share the look that I did on them and myself in this makeup of the night post!

The girls did their own face makeup, but on myself, I used a little bit of bobbi brown creamy concealer to cover the blemishes and after doing the eye shadow, I applied more of the concealer under the eyes just to cover up any stray sparkles. I also used a little bit of a pearly highlighter on my cheekbones for some glow!

First I primed the eyelids. Then I went into my Nude 'Tude Palette (I'll link my review on it here) and I took the color Silly (a deep brown base with silver sparkle) and patted it all over the lid. If you're going to re-create this, make sure to pat because if you use sweeping motions, you'll get lots of fallout! Then I took Sultry (a matte medium brown) and used it in the crease to warm up the eyes and to blend out the first shade. I think that this brings lots of warmth and dimension to the eyes and makes the whole eye look a lot better! Then to add more definition and depth, I mixed Silly (that first shade) and Serious (a matte black) and applied that to the outer V, also smoking it out a little bit. If you need to, take a blending brush to buff around the edges so you don't get any harsh lines. I also used Sassy (a metallic white) very lightly under the brow bones. To finish, I used a lot of black liner on the upper lashes. On the lower lashes I used a navy pencil liner because my uniform was blue and I thought it would be pretty, but if you recreate it, I'd use deep brown or black on the lower lashlines (smudge it out!) and waterline. I also used 2 coats of covergirl lashblast volume mascara on the upper lashes.

I wanted to do a little bit of lipstick and I thought, "Why not go all out?" so I decided to forgo a nude and go for a bright pink! I used OCC Anime (I'll link my review here) on a lip brush and applied it. I chose this shade because I love the staying power of the lip tars especially during a 3 hour cheer competition, where I couldn't go to the bathroom to touch it up. I also used my Artistry lipgloss in Glitz (a medium, shimmery pink) over it just for some sheen. I'll link my review of that gloss here

So I hope you liked this makeup of the night/tutorial! Leave a comment below with your thoughts on this makeup, and any suggestions you might have for future posts! Also, please follow me on bloglovin because I will do a giveaway once I reach 100 followers!

4th Liebster Award Nomination!

Hey everyone!
So I know that I've done three of these ones before (I'll link them here and here and here), but the lovely Brittnee from A Beauty Product A Day nominated me for another one! So I'll try to make this post as short as possible!

Brittnee's questions:
1) What is your favorite mascara?
I really like the covergirl lashblast (the one in the orange tube) and I love the waterproof formula of that too.
2) What post on your blog is your favorite and why?
My favorite has to be the "me without makeup" post, which I'll link here, because I got some great feedback and I loved being able to share with you guys my imperfections too.
3) If you could be an animal, what would you be?
I think it would be cool to be an octopus because I'd love having all those tentacles!
4) If you had to spend $1,000 in one store, where would it be?
Probably macys! I love getting my clothes from there and they have makeup counters too!
5) If you had to spend $1,000 on one person besides yourself, who would it be?
Probably my sister because she wears a lot of my old hand me downs, which look nice and she doesn't mind, but I think it would be fun for her to go on a shopping spree!
6) Favorite way to promote your blog?
I like to comment on some blogs and leave my link! But I never, ever spam people.
7) Do you like board games or card games?
I like card games more, but I play board games more often!
8) What is your best beauty tip?
To do eye makeup before foundation! You can cover up your fall out with foundation and it'll look really perfect!
9) What is your favorite website to shop on?
Probably because I love just browsing on it and I love how its more organized than an actual sephora store!
10) If you could get anyone to guest post on your blog, who would you choose and why?
Probably Kendall or Kylie Jenner because I love their style and I think that they'd know a lot of insider tricks and tips because they are around this stuff a lot. Also, they could be considered "modern beauty girls" themselves!
11)What is your favorite candy?
I really like candy corn! It is so sweet and amazing and I'm obsessed! Or redvines! Those are really good too!

So I won't nominate individual people, because I've already done most of the nominating in the past three posts! So I will nominate all of you readers to do this in the comments! I will leave my 11 questions at the end of this post for you if you'd like to do it and don't forget to follow my blog!
