How to: Use White Shadow on the Lid!

Hey everyone!
So another question that I think a lot of people have is how to use white shadows other than as a highlight. I made this eye look using the white shadow on the lid and I thought that I'd share it with you guys to inspire you to take some beauty risks too!

1) I primed my lids using a champagne cream shadow
2) I took my shimmery white shade (like the balm's sassy) and applied it all over the lid and into the inner tearduct area
3) I took a MAC 217 brush and a matte deep brown shade (like MAC espresso) and applied it to the outer crease and outer V
4) I blended with a clean fluffy brush
5) I lined my eyes using a pencil liner and an angled brush
6) I took that brown shade under my eyes on my lower lashline
7) I applied 2 coats of mascara!

For my face, I just used a little highlighter and a peachy blush. Nothing too intense because I was going for a more neutral look!

I just applied lip balm because my lips were extra dry and flaky and I didn't want to deal with a lipstick or lipgloss accentuating it!

So that was how I like to use white shadows other than as a highlighter! Let me know how you like to use white shadow in the comments below! I really like doing posts like this when I take beauty risks and hopefully I'll have more posts like these coming up soon!
