How to: Make a Dramatic Wing with Shadow

Hey everyone!
This is a look that is so common on the runways and with the celebrities! It is a large wing look, but rather than using liner you use shadow and make it take the whole lid space! I thought that I would show you how I recreate this look! So let's get started!

1) Start by priming your lids if needed. We will use a colored base, so you might not need to, but if you'd like to do it!
2) Take a pencil liner (mines navy) and draw a line up from your lower lashline that will be the bottom of your wing and draw another line in your crease which will b the natural line above. And fill in the space between the two lines as best as you can! Also take that blue liner under the lower lashes!
3) Take a frosted shadow in the same shade as your liner (i.e if you used a brown liner use a brown shadow) I used a frosty navy shade! Pat this all over the wing that you made just to set that liner. Be careful around the bottom line because you want that to remain really sharp and precise.
4) Take that same shadow and a blending brush and apply some of that to the crease and blend it out as best you can! It might take a little bit of elbow grease and time!
5) Highlight your browbone with whatever shade you'd like to!
6) We'll skip the liner for this look because it is not necessary, but apply 2 coats of mascara and if you're going to wear this out, maybe use some falsies!

I used a little bit of a champagne highlighter. I also used a little bit of a peach blush to help my face liven up and to counter the cool undertones of the eyes!

You can do a lot of lip options, but the most chic in my opinion is a nude! I don't have a great nude lipstick at the moment, but I had a good gloss so I used a shimmery champagne gloss!

So that's how to get dramatic wings with shadow! If you try this out, tweet it to me @a_modern_girl because I would love to see how it looks on you! Also, leave a comment below if you have any other trends you'd like to see me do a tutorial on!
