Gold and Plum Makeup tutorial!

Hey everyone!
I know that a lot of my fall tutorials so far have been focused on Cranberry shades, but I thought that I'd do a tutorial on another great color for fall: Plum! So this is a very wearable tutorial that I think would be perfect for a party, night on the town, or even a dressier work day! So let's get started!

1) Start with your foundation already on and your brows filled! Prime your eyelids and apply tape to the outer part of the lid to make a nice sharp wing!

2) Take a antiqued gold shade (a gold that has brown undertones) and pat it all over the lid and slightly into the crease.

3) Take a crease brush and a shimmery plum shade and apply it to the outer half of the lid, blending it into the gold shade as well as applying it into the crease. You want to build up the color on the lid quite a bit, but do more of a wash all over the crease, slightly higher than you would normally do as this will be a blending color of sorts.

4) Take a more precise crease brush and a bronzey shade. Apply this into the actual crease and blend it up into the purple that we applied in the previous step!

5) Take a burgundy shade with purple undertones and apply it to the outer edge of the lid (overlap the tape and blend into the purple) and also into the outer portion of the crease, blending into the purple and bronze.

6) Remove the tape and take a clean blending brush and a matte cream shade and use that to blend out the crease once more, making sure not to over blend because that would make for a muddier look.

7) Take a pencil brush and that shimmery plum shade and apply it along the lower lashline about 3/4 of the way in!

8) Apply a black pencil or gel liner to the upper lashline as well as the lower waterline!

9) Apply mascara and falsies if desired!

To finish off the face, I used a apricot blush on my cheeks very lightly for just a hint of color. I didn't use a lipstick, but I used a pale pink shimmery gloss for some sheen! If you are going to use a lipstick, I'd go for a sheer plum, berry, nude, or light/medium rose shade!

So that was my gold and plum makeup tutorial! Let me know your thoughts on it in the comments and if there are any other colors you'd like me to incorporate in a eye look, leave them in a comment below!
