Does your hair suffer from breakage?

Hey guys!
I just wanted to do a quick post asking for some advice! I have very thick hair and I have lots of it! Recently, (within the past few months) I've been combing through my hair using a wide tooth comb in the shower after applying conditioner and I've noticed that a lot of my hair is falling out! I know that you're supposed to lose up to 100 strands each day, but they seem to be all falling out in the shower as opposed to throughout the day. I was just wondering if there is a way that I can stop this breakage/falling out and everything. I have a few things that I'm going to try, which I'll list below, but if you have more suggestions let me know!

1) Leave my hair down more!
I usually have my hair in a ponytail or a top knot, so I think that is putting lots of stress on my strands so I'll try to leave it down and see fi it improves.

2) Switch my part
I read something on shine.yahoo.com that says that some breakage happens because the hair is parted the same way day after day. I think that I'm going to switch my middle part to a deeper side part and see if that helps as well!

So those are the 2 things that I think may help my situation! If you have something that may help me, please leave it in a comment below! Also subscribe to this blog for new content daily!
