Makeup of the day: a wash of color

Hey everyone!
So it is almost spring and I have been in a total color mood! I did an orange/coral lip look yesterday. I'll link that look here. Today, I tried to do something different and do neutral lips and a colorful eye. So I did a wash of lavender across the lid with a little bit of brown in the outer V and crease. I paired that with peachy blush and a light pink lipgloss.

Eyes:
I primed my eyes with NYX eye pencil in milk. I used the physicians formula brown eyes palette, which has browns, light highlight colors, and purples. I used a light lavender color (the middle purple in the palette) that has a little bit of shimmer and packed it on the lid. I packed it on a lot because the eye shadow is a bit sheer and I wanted to build it up. I then mixed a light shimmery brown color with a blackened brown color and applied that to the outer corner of the lid, blending it out as I went. I used MAC brulee on my browbone as a highlight color. I used an eyeko liquid liner in a purple color and made a fine line on the lashline. I applied 2 coats of Model Co mascara to finish the look.

Face:
I used a peachy, shimmery blush and applied that to my cheeks. I used Covergirl blush in "pretty peach". This blush has a satin finish and makes the face look fresh. I also used Satin Sparks highlighter (a pink toned champagne color with shimmer) on my cheekbones and along the bridge of my nose.

Lips:
I used Stila lip glaze in "guava". It is a sheer light pink color and applied that all over my lips. I also think that a deeper pink would look good or a nude lipstick would look great too!

So that's my makeup of the day! Let me know what you think of it in the comments!
