Date night duochrome eye

Hey everyone!
So with valentines day this thursday, I thought that I would do a more dramatic eye look if you are more daring and my last 2 valentines day looks (here and here) weren't dramatic enough for you. So this look uses a duochrome shadow from the wet n wild "comfort zone" palette. For a review of that palette click here. So this look incorporates a blue/burgundy duochrome eyeshadow.
First, I put a black base on my lid. I used "blacktrack" fluidliner from mac. You could also use a navy and that would look just as good. Only apply the black base on the lid not taking it higher that the crease. Try to keep it mostly opaque on the lid, but you can blend it out as you work your way up the eye. Apply the duochrome shadow to the lid using a flat shader brush. Take a crease brush and also apply it to the crease. If you applied your base correctly, you should have a blue color on your lid and a burgundy shade above it in the crease. Use a shimmery ivory color and apply that right under the brow bone. You could also use a matte color, but I think the shimmery color looks really good. I lined the upper lashline with a black liquid liner. I also used model co fiber mascara to lengthen the lashes, but if you are doing this for a date night you can use false lashes.
For the rest of the look, I would suggest skipping the blush unless you do a nice nude colored one. For lips, I would also do a nude lip, but do a natural looking lip. Not a dead looking one.
So that's my super dramatic date night duochrome eye look! Let me know what you think of it in the comments!
